Ramson supplies membrane filters and complete filtration solutions for drinking water as well as industrial and wastewater applications. In close collaboration with Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, we offer both spiral-wound and hollow-fiber (“ZeeWeed”) membranes tailored to your needs—from small pilot units to full-scale plants.
Whether for drinking water, process water, or wastewater management, we provide high-performance, long-lasting membrane filters.
Ramson offers a broad range of membranes for RO (reverse osmosis), NF (nanofiltration), and UF (ultrafiltration), suitable for drinking water, wastewater, and industrial applications. We stock several common membrane models for rapid delivery and can customize or expand our range to meet specific project requirements.
In partnership with Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, Ramson manufactures membrane filtration plants. We can deliver both pilot-scale units and full-scale installations according to your needs. This forward-looking technology holds great potential in water treatment. Membranes come in various configurations, selected after thorough water analysis to determine what needs to be removed. Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions’s powerful Winflow tool is used for system sizing.
Our membrane filters are used in a variety of contexts. Below are two examples—a UF system with ZeeWeed membranes and an RO plant for industrial water—both developed in collaboration with Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions and manufactured in our workshop.
UF membranes – ZeeWeed
This UF system uses hollow-fiber membranes, filtering from the outside in through each fiber. Particles, debris, and bacteria are trapped on the outside and removed by air bubbles. To ensure long service life and proper function, regular cleaning with elevated temperature and chemicals is required. The fibers are housed in the white membrane vessels visible standing in the container in the photo.
Spiral-wound RO membranes
Spiral-wound membranes are employed in many applications. Shown here is an industrial water treatment plant. The fiberglass-reinforced plastic housings contain three spiral-wound RO membranes. The system also includes prefilters, process pumps, and a control system. To maintain long-term efficiency, it is equipped with a CIP (clean-in-place) unit that periodically cleans the membranes of fouling.
